Kolukkumalai is 500 acres of land which has 200 acres of tea and the rest is a thick forest and grass lands We can reach only by jeep from Suryanelly which will be an hour ride on jumpy bumpy rugged road. Once we reach Kolukkumalai we can trek from 2 hours to 4-5 hours through tea plantations, shola forests, grass lands etc. You can hire a jeep or use public transport to reach Suryanelli from Munnar, almost 01.30 hours travel from Munnar with mind-blowing scenic views of tea estates. Camp Kolukkumalai is situates in the lap of the highest tea growing estate in the World.
Itinerary (01 Night & 02 Days)
✔ 2.00 PM - Pick up from Suryanelli - After reaching Suryanelly and will be transferred to Jeeps for the adventure ride, an hour ride will take you to the highest tea growing estate in the World. ✔ 4.30 PM - After reaching the Camp we will have a small brief about the camp. ✔ 5.30 PM - Sunset trek to “Singapara” ✔ 07.00 PM - Overnight in the tents with campfire and dinner served at the campsite
✔ 4.30 AM - Wake up wake up ✔ 5.00 AM - Sunrise trek to Kolukkumalai Peak.(as per Indian standard). Sunrise trek is optional ✔ Our camp situates in the Eastern Slopes we will have a spectacular Sunrise so our day will start from the sunrise. ✔ 8.30 AM - Breakfast time ✔ 9.00 AM - Guided Tea factory tour ✔ 1930’s British build orthodox wooden factory. ✔ 12.00 PM - Drop back to Suryaneli

- There are no shops available nearby, hence please carry your personal needs

Terms & Conditions
All participants registering for the trek should be trekkers! Participants should have minimum fitness, stamina and the ability to sustain harsh environments. We have experienced few picnic crowds registering for treks by mistake (Crowd which demands changing room, restroom, bedroom, shower, porters etc.) We request not to register if you are not OK carrying your own required items, which include: Your personal backpack, sleeping bags and common items like food, tents etc, if required. We expect every trekker to be respectful towards nature, local people / tribal. Camping and trekking are not a luxury event. Arrangements may be very basic; service providers do not/cannot provide luxury on such events. Accommodations are many times: Sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, room with no beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.
